What new seeds are you going to plant this spring?

Be sure to “shout” it on the rooftops! Have a very Auspicious Vernal Equinox.

Equinox means “equal night”. At this time of year; the sun is positioned above the equator and day and night are about equal in length all over the world.

The Spring Equinox is sometimes referred to as the Vernal Equinox – meaning spring. This is the start of the Astrological year when the Sun enters 0* of the Sign of the Ram (Aries). The Egyptian’s built the Great Sphinx to point directly toward the rising Sun on this day every year.

The Chinese Wu Xing Philosophy which is used in Feng Shui; is a system of studying nature correlating to the seasons and elements. Spring is associated with the color Green; green is of the wood element, think of sprouting and growing, wind and shouting!

This is the time of shaking off the yin aspects of winter and starting the yang (outward/upward) growth of stretching and growing. This can be translated to ourselves interacting with the vernal equinox just like the plants in nature.
